Reading and writing

during this course I have learned a number of strategies to implement them in the classroom, reading skills and writing are important for the development of students.

Below I will discuss the importance of these two skills.

Reading and writing is an essential skill for today's society. It allows a huge potential for communication, it is essential that students acquire and master the processes of reading and writing.

A good command of written language will allow them to understand the meaning of what they read and transmit their ideas so that others can understand. This will be essential for its development and for building their learning.

We have become accustomed to think that reading and writing are purely mechanical and instrumental learning, but they are actually learning basic cognitive and affective transfer which goes far beyond could imagine; for something, universally, they are considered essential learning for life.

in both classes we have studied thoroughly what each skill corresponds, implementing strategies, techniques, everything.

These skills are important for developing increasingly elaborate thinking, communication and positive interaction with others and with the environment, plus they are very valuable to learn instruments, keep studying and keep learning tools levels. In today's world the ability to learn throughout life is not only a necessity, for the speed with which science and technology advances, it is also a right of all, it has to do with equity so we need to bridge the gaps that exist in our country. I guarantee these students learning in all of our institutions becomes a major socio-political and ethical commitment, we are in obligation to fulfill
